Terms & Privacy
Welcome to Kintd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This page covers the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy that apply when you visit our website at kintd.com (the “Site”) and join our email waitlist. By submitting your email address, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or join the waitlist.
Terms of Use
1. About the Site
The Site is currently a pre-launch landing page that allows visitors to learn about our upcoming product and submit an email address to join a waitlist. We may update, expand, or remove features at any time without notice.
2. The Waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product, early access, pricing, or any other benefit. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, who is granted access, in what order, and on what terms. We may close, restart, or cancel the waitlist at any time.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit an email address that is not yours or that you are not authorized to use.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated means to interact with the Site or sign up multiple times.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the Site without our prior written permission.
5. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information presented is accurate or complete. Any forward-looking statements about the product are aspirational and subject to change.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or the waitlist. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. It includes specific disclosures for California residents.
1. Who We Are
Kintd is responsible for your personal information (the “business” under California’s CCPA / CPRA). You can reach us at privacy@kintd.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us:
- Your email address, when you submit it to join the waitlist.
- Any messages or feedback you send us directly.
Information collected automatically: when you submit the waitlist form, our server records technical information including your IP address and browser user-agent string. These are stored only in a hashed (one-way) form for rate-limiting and abuse prevention; we do not retain the raw values. Our database also records the timestamp of your signup.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, the categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (email address; hashed IP). We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Add you to our waitlist and email you when we’re ready to invite you to use Kintd.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and the waitlist, including cloud hosting, database, and bot-detection providers. These providers are bound by written contracts that limit their use of your data to performing services for us.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify waitlist subscribers and ensure the recipient honors this Policy.
In the past 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are required for the Site to function — specifically, bot-detection cookies set during waitlist submission and platform cookies set by our hosting provider. These do not require consent under applicable law. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may prevent the waitlist form from working.
6. Data Retention
We keep your email address and any related information for as long as you remain on the waitlist, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by emailing privacy@kintd.com. If we launch our product and you do not become a customer, we will delete or anonymize your waitlist data within 24 months of launch, unless you have asked to remain subscribed. Records we are legally required to keep are retained for the period required by applicable law.
7. Rights for California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know: request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so this right does not currently apply.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
To exercise these rights, you can either click the unsubscribe link in any email we send you (which will remove your email from our waitlist) or email privacy@kintd.com. We may need to verify your identity by matching information you provide against information we already hold (for example, the email address you used to join the waitlist). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; the agent must provide proof that you authorized them to act on your behalf.
We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, with one possible 45-day extension as permitted by law. We will not retaliate against you for exercising your rights.
Shine the Light: California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
8. Rights for Other U.S. State Residents
If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not engage in any of those activities, but if your state grants you the rights above, you can exercise them by emailing privacy@kintd.com. You may also have the right to appeal a denial of your request; instructions will be provided in our response.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashing of identifiers before storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email before the changes take effect.
